A background on Mohammed Alaloul. Mohammed Alaloul was a cameraman when his family was directly targeted by Israel. Mohammed told the stories of many people and on November 5th, his story went viral. On November 5, 2023, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Al Maghazi refugee camp, resulting in a devastating toll of at least 47 lives lost and numerous others injured. It was then Alaloul found out 4 of his children had been killed. Ahmad (13), Rahef (11), Kanan (6), and Qais (4). His surviving son Adam (11 mo), endured cuts across his face and body from shrapnel during the attack. Mohammed's wife, Amnah, also bore the brunt of the violence, sustaining cuts from shrapnel, broken bones, and serious burns to her face.
